AI-powered Customer Marketing Platform Ometria Raises £4.5M

AI-powered customer marketing platform Ometria has raised £4.52 million ($6 million) in a Series A round spearheaded by American firm Summit Action, and backed by a syndicate of individual investors from the retail industry (such as Black & Decker’s George Buckley, and Amazon ex-MD Lance Batchelor, among several others.)

The London-based company has so far raised £8.3 million ($11 million) to fuel the development of its platform, which aims at allowing retailers to push personalised marketing messages across several brand touchpoints.

Ometria is already partnering with over 100 of the world’s largest multichannel retailers and e-commerce ventures, including Moss Bros, Crew Clothing, Charlotte Tilbury, Feelunique, LoveCrafts, Wonderbly (formerly Lost My Name), and Graze.com.

Ometria cofounder and CEO Ivan Mazour, commenting on the round, squids that “retailers can get a complete understanding of each and every customer, predict their interests and future behavior, and use it to directly encourage them to keep coming back.”
