Tech City UK is on the Lookout for 50 Champion Start-ups

Tech City UK’s Future Fifty will support fifty growth-stage companies by providing access to government officials, helping with promotion, and offering workshops and networking opportunities.(via bit.ly/2fg59DH)

Tech City UK’s Future Fifty  is open for applications.

The quango in charge of fostering the UK’s digital innovation sector is on the lookout for promising startups to join in the programme.

The initiative will support fifty growth-stage trailblazing companies, by providing access to government officials, helping with promotion, and offering unique workshops and networking opportunities.

Candidates will have to be UK-based, besides having an yearly revenue over £5 million and be growing at 30 percent year-on-year.

Future Fifty’s alumni include now-high profile companies such as Deliveroo, JustEat, Crowdcube and eToro. So far, the programme’s 77 past participants have raised $3 billion overall, and generated over 23,000 jobs.

Tech City UK is also accepting candidacies for Upscale, a programme geared towards early-stage startups.

The thirty winning companies will be assisted in scaling up business through mentoring, networking and promotional support. Past programme-takers  include Seedrs and Property Partner.
